Ace (was Arwin)

Ace's Dad writes:

"ACE (aka Fanatic Ace, aka Arwin) spent a few years at the kennel before he found his 'forever home" with his new big sister Doe (AKA Devilish Doe).  The two beautiful fawns are now inseparable.  While we thought Ace was "laid back" like a lot of male greyhounds, especially when he slept in the dead cockroach position shortly after arrival, it turns out this boy needed a lot of support and socialization. We discovered he had some special needs, including a recurrent lame foreleg. But Ace has become accustomed to his new life in the woods (with a large fenced-in yard) and he makes us chuckle almost every day as he does something new and unexpected. While you still don't want to be too close if you are a squirrel, chipmunk, or small dog, Ace is nothing but a big cuddler. He sleeps with us and, even when there is plenty of room in the king-sized bed, he has to be right next to one of us.  He has claimed all of the couches, beds, and the high-level sleeping spot on a hill outside as his own personal property.  He also frequently assists with gardening tasks but only digging, not planting. This sweet boy loves people, his sister Doe, and dinnertime."
