Star

To Everyone at Northern Greyhound Adoption:
We cannot thank you enough for allowing us to adopt this precious greyhound, Star, and let her be our "forever friend."
In the few short days we have had her, she has brought so much joy and love into our home. She quickly became part of our family and bonded so well with our priceless nine-year-old fawn greyhound, Chloe. She learned the stairs in a day and is completely housebroken. She LOVES to eat and she LOVES to play with the many toys we have. She learned the word "no" extremely quickly and we have found no need for any further discipline. She follows us around like we are glued together and is already sleeping out of her crate and in our bedroom. Actually, she only uses her crate to hide, (not chew), things she steals from us; which we find quite humerous, (I mean, who would think a flyer from the Sunday paper is a treasure?)
We have renamed her Abbey, but sometimes call her Abigail, Abbey Girl or Abbey-normal. She is getting more used to ther name and is starting to respond on a consistent basis.
Again, thank you so much for allowing Abbey (STAR) into our home and into our hearts. We love her so much and you can be assured she is getting the absolute best care ever.
Sincerely,
Rick and Holly Nestle

Star is littermates with John Henry and Jumper!

Star is impressive - she is as sweet natured as she is gorgeous to look at. She is dainty, but elegant at the same time.  Star is an absolute pleasure to walk on a leash. She takes everything in stride, and in general has a happy attitude.
